Lights, camera, angels! The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is the equivalent of the Super Bowl for all the girlies into fashion, modeling, and killer looks. Taking place Wednesday night, October 15th, in Brooklyn, New York, there was extra-high anticipation about the pieces, hairstyles, surprise artists, models, and more. New arrivals caused commotion in the community, with different opinions arising on social media about who really deserved to walk the runway. The show consisted of six chapters: First Light, Bombshell, PINK Halftime Show, Hot Pursuit, Magic Hour, and Black Tie. Each one had its own distinct vibes, presented by the looks the models were dressed in. Since the show was being broadcast on Amazon, VS dropped a new collection and over 80 looks were shown on the runway, all shoppable on Amazon and the official VS website.
The Chapters
The show was opened by model Jasmine Tookes, who, at the time, is nine months pregnant and used her baby bump to give the adorable illusion of a pearl in an oyster, the clam being her wings. The “First Light” chapter collection was based off of amber-brown pieces with a warm, golden look to them. Following, “Bombshell” served VS staples, with bold pinks and super-extra looks. “Pink Halftime Show” presented pieces from PINK, described by VS to be serving “main character energy.” “Hot Pursuit” was everything you could expect based on its name: sexy, hot looks and red all around their signature lingerie. During “Magic Hour,” we can observe light-colored pieces with a beautiful sunset background, perfectly depicting the sky’s appearance during a magical sunset. The complete opposite can be said for “Black Tie,” which showed monochrome, shiny glam with big wings and after-dark pieces, giving us a harmonious conclusion to the show.

Artist Performances
Victoria’s Secret decided to serve some much-needed diversity by bringing in artists from around the world to perform at the show this year. Opening the chapter “First Light,” we had Madison Beer, a well-known American singer-songwriter, who performed three singles titled “Make You Mine,” “Bittersweet,” and “Yes Baby.” Following her performance entered world-famous K-pop girl group Twice, who sang during the PINK Halftime Show. Out of nine members, only four flew out to perform, these being Jihyo, Tzuyu, Nayeon, and Momo. The girls sang two songs during their set: “This Is For” and “Strategy,” both songs’ lyrics empowering women and truly being on brand for the show. Twice fans absolutely sold out the looks all four members were wearing, with Tzuyu’s “Wear Everywhere Push-Up Bra” going viral on TikTok. The next artist was upcoming Coachella headliner Karol G, a Colombian singer who has a massive fanbase across the world. She performed two hits from her latest album, “Tropicoqueta”: “Ivonny Bonita” and “Latina Foreva.” Her tracks totally matched the collection being presented at the time of her set (Hot Pursuit), with sexy lyrics and feel-good beats. She served as a representative for all Latina girls who dream of someday walking the runway and as an empowering reminder of the beauty they hold. Closing off the show, rap legend Missy Elliott came to deliver, performing “One Minute Man,” “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control.”
Famous Faces + Critiques
The expectations for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2025 were over the roof, with fans and customers on social media speculating about who was going to walk the runway and what pieces they would be wearing. Last year, the looks were all about slick backs, so the fans were begging for the iconic bouncy blowouts to make a comeback in the upcoming show, and they delivered. The 2025 styles consisted of modern blowouts and wings that totally complemented each piece worn. There were mixed opinions on whether influencers such as Quen Blackwell and Gabriela Moura, or world-class athletes like Sunisa (Suni) Lee and Angel Reese, were worthy of walking the show, but with the inclusivity movement on the move, VS was not about to let some lousy critics online ruin their current image. Renowned models came to walk the show as well, with iconic names strutting the runway like Adriana Lima, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Anok Yai, Alex Consani, and more.
Conclusion
The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show served us an atmosphere of diversity, empowerment, and fresh looks straight out of the stores. Artists and models from all around the world came together in NYC to produce what can only be described as a beautiful product of hard, year-long work. The different chapters along the show displayed a variety of collections, each with its own special charm. Best of all, we can shop the looks straight off the runway on the VS website and Amazon, so we can feel just as gorgeous as the models presenting them. Fans can’t wait to see what the next year will hold for the show; in the meanwhile, all we can do is wait and see what surprises VS will come up with.
